Brief History of Gideon Badminton Academy (GBA)

Marcus Fernaldi Gideon Badminton Academy (GBA) is a badminton academy founded by Indonesian men’s doubles player, Marcus Gideon.

  • The academy originated from the development of Gideon Badminton Hall as a training center in the Bogor area.
  • GBA was established with the aim of developing talented young athletes through a modern training system, both through scholarship and independent pathways.
  • The academy primarily focuses on nurturing junior athletes to reach national and international levels.
  • GBA is also active in organizing talent scouting programs, such as the “Scarlett Gideon Cari Juara” scholarship program, to recruit athletes from across Indonesia.

Overall, GBA is recognized as a modern academy that combines professional training, strong facilities, and competitive opportunities.
